The Dive Base
Diving Dragonera – the Mallorca dive school that leaves you wanting more.
Our PADI 5 Star dive base sits right by the sea on the harbour promenade of Port d'Andratx in the southwest of Mallorca, just 30 km from Palma. Founded in 1987, we're one of the oldest dive bases on the island.
Step through the door of the small heritage-listed former fisherman's cottage, and you'd never expect the diver's oasis that opens up in the back. With spacious areas for dive preparation, logbook writing, sharing experiences after dives — or simply relaxing on our outdoor sofa under the palm tree between dives. We see ourselves as a meeting place for underwater enthusiasts with a real welcoming atmosphere. That's what makes Diving Dragonera. Here, your dive experience doesn't end when you surface. We take the time for the post-dive debrief, share tips, look up the creatures you saw.

Our dive boat “Barracuda”
Our modern offshore RIB, the “Barracuda”, with its 200 HP makes for fast and comfortable runs to the over 30 stunning dive sites nearby — including the famous “Sa Dragonera” marine reserve.
The boat seats 10 guests — an exclusive experience in a small group is guaranteed. For maximum comfort on our dive trips, we cap dive groups at no more than 4–6 people per guide.

Directions
Port d'Andratx is just 30–35 minutes from Palma by car, and is also easy to reach by bus directly from Palma, Santa Ponsa, Camp de Mar, Peguera or Sant Elm. The bus stop is about a 5-minute walk from the base.
Parking
About 5 minutes from the dive base there is a large free car park next to the Hostal Catalina Vera. You'll also find free parking away from the harbour promenade along the side streets (white or no markings). Please note: the blue markings for the paid parking spaces directly in front of the dive base only apply for 2 hours and are not enough for the duration of the trips.
