Our dive centre is right on the harbour promenade of Port d'Andratx, Almirante Riera Alemany 23.

Please note: the blue markings directly in front of the dive centre are paid parking and limited to 2 hours – not enough for a trip.

During the season we go out daily, with one dive per trip:

• 9:30 – trip into the Dragonera marine reserve (weather permitting)
• 11:30 – relaxed dive at nearby, beginner-friendly sites
• 14:00 – afternoon trip for certified divers, 5–10 minutes travel time

The diving season runs from April to November, sunset tours from April to October. You will receive the exact time confirmed with your booking.

Each trip includes one dive. The nearby sites are 5–10 minutes away, the Dragonera marine reserve correspondingly longer.

You book and check in online through our booking system. On site we meet directly at the dive centre: paperwork, fitting the equipment, a short briefing – then we board the boat.

If you are travelling with non-divers, our guided snorkelling tour is often the nicer solution – everyone is in the water together. For a completely private boat experience you can also book the “Barracuda” exclusively.

Our instructors teach in German, English, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch.

Yes. If you dive with us on several days, you can store your equipment at the dive centre free of charge – so you do not have to carry it back and forth every day.

Yes. Back at the dive centre you can take a warm shower. Water, coffee, tea and biscuits are included as a flat rate – on boat trips, snorkelling tours and courses alike.

You can refill your own water bottle free of charge at any time. Best to bring swimwear, a towel and ocean-friendly sunscreen.

As long as the safety rules are followed, diving is a very safe activity. Our PADI 5★ dive centre meets the highest standards: DAN emergency equipment, oxygen, qualified guides with first-aid training, an emergency phone and rescue equipment on the boat and at the centre.

Yes. Proof of valid dive accident insurance – including coverage of hyperbaric chamber treatment – is mandatory in Spain.

If you do not have any, we are happy to arrange it for you on site. Various periods are available, for example €8 for one day or €24 for one week.

For try dives and in our VIP and private boat packages the insurance is already included in the price.

For try dives and all diving courses you fill in the PADI medical statement beforehand. If any question is answered with “yes”, you additionally need a doctor's clearance.

For the Advanced Open Water Diver and above we always require a medical certificate and a passport photo. If you are unsure, talk to us beforehand – we will tell you exactly what you need.

If you are unsure what applies in your case, just ask us beforehand.

For a try dive, being able to swim is enough. For guided dive trips you need a PADI certification (Open Water Diver or equivalent).

Stricter rules apply for dives in the Dragonera marine reserve – at least 20 logged dives and a check of your diving skills. Whatever your level, we have something suitable.

You can complete that check in two ways: during a dive on the previous day on our 11:30 or 14:00 trip – or, if you only have one day, directly before the Dragonera dive with a private guide or as part of our VIP package.

On top of that comes the reserve fee: €10 per trip or €79 for an annual pass.

Your own equipment is welcome but not necessary – we provide complete rental gear. What you should bring:

• swimwear and a towel
• ocean-friendly sunscreen
• a water bottle (refillable free of charge at the dive centre)
• certification card and logbook if you are certified

For diving courses, add the medical statement and – from Advanced Open Water Diver – a medical certificate and passport photo.

We meet directly at the dive centre in Port d'Andratx, followed by a short briefing, gearing up, the boat ride to the site, the dive briefing and the dive itself.

Which site we head for is decided by the guide shortly before departure – depending on the weather and the group. Back at the centre: a warm shower, tea, coffee and biscuits, and swapping stories.

Yes – under Spanish law, a surface marker buoy (SMB) and a knife are mandatory in addition to a dive computer. Both are part of our equipment package; you can also rent the items individually from us.

To be on the safe side, plan a dive-free day before your return flight. The common recommendation from DAN and PADI is: at least 12 hours before flying after a single dive, and at least 18 hours after several dives or several consecutive diving days.

You can still spend that last day on the water: snorkelling, a sunset tour or stand-up paddling are possible with no waiting time.

You work through the theory beforehand via the PADI eLearning platform – ideally at home, which leaves more time in the water once you are here. We then go over the key points together in the classroom at the dive centre.

We meet at the dive centre in Port d'Andratx, go over the theory briefly in the classroom, then gear up and get in the water: first the confined water lessons in a sheltered bay nearby, then the open water dives from our dive boat “Barracuda”.

Back at the centre there are warm showers, coffee, tea and biscuits – plus the debrief and your logbook entry.

4–5 days of practical training here with us, plus the theory beforehand as self-study via the PADI eLearning platform.

The course start is arranged individually – sign up in good time so we can reserve a place for you.

The course fee is €475 and includes rental equipment, the PADI certification fee and tank fills. On top of that come €150 for the online learning materials (PADI eLearning).

The price applies to bookings from two people onwards or for a course starting on a Monday. For individual bookings on special dates there is a surcharge of €150.

You will find the prices for the other courses – Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, specialties and Divemaster – on the dive school page.

We teach in small groups: a maximum of two students per instructor. That applies to the Open Water Diver as well as the Scuba Review and the more advanced courses.

If you would like it even more personal, one-to-one tuition or a private guide is possible – depending on the course there is a surcharge for that.

A Scuba Review is the refresher for certified divers who have been out of the water for a while. Under the supervision of a PADI Professional you repeat the key skills in a controlled environment – mask clearing, regulator recovery, assembling your kit – and 2 dives in the sea get you back in shape.

It takes about 4 hours, the course fee is €199 and the prerequisite is the Open Water Diver.

Yes. PADI certifications are international and recognised by dive centres worldwide. With the Open Water Diver you may dive anywhere with your buddy down to 18 metres and rent equipment.

The PADI certification fee is included in our course fee. You receive your credential from PADI after completing the course – the digital card in the PADI app counts just as much as the printed one.

Yes! Try dives are possible from age 10, and the Junior PADI Open Water Diver also from age 10. From age 15 there is the full PADI Open Water Diver.

We teach in small groups with a maximum of two students per instructor and offer dedicated children's diving programmes.

It is best to talk to us before booking, then we plan the course days to fit your stay.

Yes, our guided snorkelling tour is the perfect choice for beginners and families. Our guide explains the equipment and accompanies you in the water to the spot.

Snorkelling keeps you at the surface and needs no previous experience – ideal for families and beginners. The guided boat tour costs €49 per person, €39 without a guide, each including the boat ride and complete snorkelling equipment.

On a try dive you breathe underwater for the first time, accompanied by an instructor. From shore that costs €99 per person including rental equipment and insurance; it is also available from the boat.

If you are unsure: the 11:30 trip goes to calm, beginner-friendly spots and works well for both.

In high season from July to September we go out every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 15:30.

In low season – April to June and October – we leave every Monday and Saturday at 13:30.

The Dragonera sunset tour by Zodiac starts depending on the sunset; you will get the exact time with your booking.

After check-in and paperwork you get your equipment and a short briefing. Then the boat takes you straight to the snorkelling spot and into the water.

Around Port d'Andratx and in the Dragonera marine reserve there are more than 25 snorkelling spots that can only be reached by boat – Dragonera is on the programme on selected tours. Which spot we head for is decided by the guide shortly before departure, depending on wind and weather.

Back at the dive centre you can take a warm shower; water, coffee, tea and biscuits are included.

Yes, both. We run night dives on request – there is a surcharge of €19 per dive for that.

At sunset there is the Dragonera sunset tour by Zodiac: snorkelling in the last light and a lap around the island to finish. A sunset tour on a privately booked boat is possible as well.

Sunset trips run from April to October.

Yes, both. Freediving has its own section with us – from a taster day to a full course.

Mermaiding – swimming with a mermaid tail – is available as a beach experience and as a boat experience. You will find the details on the “Freediving” and “Special experiences” pages.

Mermaiding means gliding through the water with a monofin – elegant movements, plenty of fun and no diving equipment at all.

In the mermaid course you learn step by step to swim safely with the monofin and to perform beautiful movements underwater. We offer it as a beach experience and as a boat experience.

All you need to bring is swimwear, a towel and good spirits – we provide the monofin. Mermaiding is especially popular for underwater photos and hen parties.
