Learn to dive with Diving Dragonera

PADI Open Water Diver (OWD)

The entry-level dive course

With the classic entry-level dive course you become a certified diver, able to dive with your buddy anywhere in the world down to 18m and to rent equipment.

The theory lessons of the course are studied independently beforehand. The most important points of the theoretical part are then reviewed with us in the Diving Dragonera classroom. The training is combined with the Confined Water lessons, which take place in a sheltered bay nearby. The open water training for the PADI Open Water Diver course (4 open water dives) is then carried out on our dive boat „Barracuda“.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD)

The advanced dive course

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver is the opportunity to expand and improve your diving skills. It builds on the classic entry-level course PADI Open Water Diver. After successful completion you are able as a certified diver to dive with your buddy down to 30m.

The AOWD training includes 5 dives in different specialty areas. Navigation and deep diving are mandatory; you can freely choose 3 additional specialty areas depending on availability.

During the training, experienced professionals will be at your side, sharing tips and tricks on how to handle these new situations underwater. The specialty topics taught in the training — such as night diving, search and recovery, perfect buoyancy, photography, deep diving, U/W navigation, wreck diving, drift diving — can be deepened further in specialty courses (Specialty).

PADI Rescue Diver

More safety when diving

The PADI RESCUE course teaches the knowledge required to avoid, recognise and resolve problems, as well as the effective rescue of divers above and below the water. In this course you learn — with plenty of fun — how to avoid emergencies for yourself and your buddy and how to react correctly when they occur.

The dive course prepares you to avoid minor and serious diving emergencies and, if necessary, to manage them with a variety of techniques. What you learn in this course will expand your skills and confidence as a diver and allow you to take the next step, for example towards PADI Master Scuba Diver or DIVEMASTER.

PADI Divemaster

The first step to becoming a pro diver

The PADI Divemaster course is the first step into the professional world of diving — and for many divers one of the most exciting and formative experiences of their entire dive training. You don't just take your diving skills to a new level, but also learn to take responsibility, lead groups and safely accompany other divers.

The course combines theory, practical skills and real experiences in everyday diving. Step by step you grow into the role of a leader and become an important support for dive students and instructors. You learn to recognise problems, act confidently and keep an overview even in challenging situations.

Whether you later want to work professionally at a dive base or on a dive boat, or simply want to grow personally — the Divemaster course will take you enormously further as a diver and a person. For us this training is one of the most important steps in diving, which is why we accompany our Divemaster candidates intensively, individually and with full passion.
